User A inserts object and receives digital key. User A sells object by providing key to escrow in exchange for crypto from user B through reputationally sound escrow. User B receives key from escrow upon payment and is free to retrieve the object. User B pays storage fee for item. This would be set by protocol from business offering lockboxes. Users both are enabled to leave reputation score. Your idea comes in when the distance between users A and B becomes requisite of a shipping component between different lockboxes. Kind of like a physical mixer to create obfuscation. By contractually offering temporary ownership of the box in custody, the warrant to open it would require action to be taken against the users instead of the company offering the lockbox service.
