I just received word that one of my friends from middle school (age 8-13) just passed away. He had 5 kids. We're the same age. Thirty-eight. He marks the 11th friend or family member to pass since the 'demic began. The second in one week.

I thought I'd be well into my 80s or 90s (SCIENCE!) before this became normal. Again, I am 38.

But we should just *get over it, it's just a flu. *

I don't need sympathy. I want people to understand that #covid is NOT a flu. #WearAMask #staysafe
