I've worked with a lot of women who are like this or are well into their twilight years and never formed a family.

When I first noticed I felt my savior complex kick in, started wondering if I should make a move even though she's not particularly attractive or was older than me. Then I started seeing more and more of it. Often very sweet ladies who surely deserve happiness but who just couldn't play their cards right for whatever reason.

I try not to think about it anymore. It's too much.
