The thing that makes me tend towards faster timeframes is that, unlike the Internet revolution, this one doesn't require any special infrastructure that has to be built out. We already have the information networks in place to allow really rapid uptake. Plus, the sheer breadth of new tools in about 7 months is jaw-dropping.
