Reason for this Admin decision:
I tried a temporary limit of 48 hours that was unsuccessful. This was after a week of bombardments from bots.
Our users deserve better.
This silence is permanent and will not be reversed unless mastodon.social takes real strides in preventing spam bots from registering and harassing the rest of the Fediverse.
Enough is enough.
