Guys the debate is simple. If the filters are arbitrary, then they shouldnt be on by default. This actually gives the user a blank slate to start with rather than an arbitrary set one by what some people think they should be. Code is more maintainable and puts the whole debate to rest. If this is in the next core release, you're welcome to add the same arbitrary filters back to it and remain in concensous. To argue there should be certain filters by default is taking the position that you think a small group of core devs SHOULD be making the decisions on what does and doesn't get filtered by default.
