From what I’ve read, AFCIs vary between “all they do is nuisance trip” and “they’ve only ever tripped when there was a real issue”.
I haven’t had a GFCI nuisance trip except the perplexing one when I touched a live screw terminal with an (insufficiently?) insulated(?) screwdriver — I didn’t feel anything, so I’m surprised that it was enough to trip.
I’d like it if we had “one 5mA GFCI breaker per circuit” instead of “one 30 mA breaker for the whole house”, but alas.
