I think that if there is to be a socialist revolution, socialist organizations should start recruiting people who are ex-military, ex-navy, etc. Ex-military, etc, people have the experience and organization/training skills that are required for any revolution to be successful. They can take their knowledge and training they've acquired from the military and appropriate it for the socialist revolution.
