I’m not looking to live a comfortable life, only a free one. Yet It could still be on an island in the sun somewhere in the tropics. Instead of a shack, it’s shipping containers. I went with containers bc I want to sell as little bitcoin as possible to buy into a global, physically networked community of Bitcoiners. I’m over living in the fiat hellscape. It’s the same shit every day.
Here’s the contractor quoting that price range: https://www.containingluxury.com/20ft. I couldn’t find anything cheaper for a space I’d live in. Supposedly labor is ~2x total raw material costs.
Is there any way to identify in shipping documents whether a specific container has ever held hazardous materials? Can these docs be tampered with in their historical accuracy without violating the law? It could be matched to the serial/container number, no?
You make an interesting point about mobility restrictions. Negatively impact the home how? In terms of total monetary costs?
