You don't want an acceleration much higher than 1g (resulting in ~1.5 effective as normal gravitation still is there, too) - which already is uncomfortable for untained persons, especially for prolongued durations.

With

and
s=0.5 a t² = 0.5 v² / a

If you use a Tesla in Ludicrous Mode you "only" reach max a=1.3g
So such Ludicrous-style acceleration to v=2000m/s speed would take s=157km and t=157secs (2.5min).

For cited ~0.5g that would be 400sec (7min) and 400km
