thanks yes I'm on X11 and that was fine, but the previous version was actually working (sort of) under Wayland, but now I also got the same - nothing but a black screen. I was really hoping the NVidia issue was now 100%.
On the plus side, under X11, the 30sec compositor delay I was getting has completely gone so that is really great.
