I feel like there's gotta be more people in the profic masto circle that are into my main fandoms but we sadly never interact. Like why, do I just not post about the ships/characters they like? And I'm talking about cases where people list or mention their fandoms but don't engage with the ones I'm talking about on site.
When people do actually post about my mains I usually go in the opposite direction and am like "ah hall nah their stuff is way better than mine, better not bother them with my inferior ideas and preferences" because it's just like that for me.
Maybe I should try to dm more people who I know share my mains anyway. Like I've made close friends in the past by just approaching someone I've never talked to and asking if they want to infodump hcs on a common interest. It's just really scary.
I have also never been rejected doing this before though and I know that it will one day happen. I fear this gravely.
