This is what happens when client devs ignore Users who want *some* tools, because they don’t think those tools are perfect enough.
Half my activity on Xitter is telling people to get on #Nostr - guess what I’ve stopped doing on Xitter now that I can’t recommend a good client to shield n00bs from basic spam?
My own noting has dropped off and I can’t in good conscience tell anyone to join here when it’s a shitshow because we have no NIP05 filtering to stop ReplyGuy.

It had previously crossed 20k and was aiming for 50 DAU in the near future. Unfortunately, over half the user base, hit by spam, have left. I hope it's just a temporary setback and that Nostr can recover. Would have been nice if they'd focused on spamming the competition, and helping to grow nostr. These are the worst people.
