if you think this is about a traffic stop 'gone wrong' (dude, they shot a boy at point blank, show some respect), you don't really understand the situation. the underlying issues date back to colonialism and yes, the actions of the state are at the core of the problem.

i agree, it's a manufactured crisis, but that doesn't mean the problems these people face are not real. there is actual social and racial segregation going on for decades, generations that have been denied equal access to society.
