djsumdog (nprofile…l0gg) not a single good technical reason. I just see Mastodon, Pleroma, and Misskey as larger than what I'd want for a single user instance. They'd be awesome if I was hosting a small community.
I might be planning to self-host on an old ThinkCentre at my house. So being nimble is a requirement.
