One thing I like to say I had a similar experience, but in my own home country 16 years ago by the Chinese family tourist who took a photo of me, and my dad without our consent. My dad didn't notice it at the time. And a year later when I was on a train on my way back home, I had Japanese female exchange student staring at me for a long time, until she got sick of it. So yeah, it's really strange tbh. These people when they come to the western world, they don't understand it's consider rude.
