He sold them off for small amounts. He said he got a pretty high (for him) price for go.com, a few thousand dollars. He kicked himself when he later found out that the lawyer who bought it from him represented a multimillion-dollar search company.

Later, he was convicted in the Silk Road sting in the early 2000s and served several years in Leavenworth. Unrelated to the go.com thing, I assume.
