During the Cold War we thought about warning our citizens. Today, seems like the government could care less. Maybe you’ll get a text, or maybe you won’t. When you look at the hurricanes, floods, cyber attacks and bombings, do you really expect the network to be there? So then what? Remember Katrina? I do. The Louisiana National Guard was pulled out of Iraq and flown back on C-17s. What did they say about New Orleans? “It’s like we never left Iraq” (i.e. it’s a war zone) I never forgot that, and that’s why @sempre_usa exists. Decentralized infrastructure is the way.
