Have I ever mentioned I hate Android's bullshit of creating its own special API classes instead of implementing Java API classes wherever possible? Because I do.
Gratuitous reinventing the wheel for no reason whatsoever. It'd be one thing if it somehow did it /better/, but it just plain doesn't.
