Well this has turned into a fun evening. Just under 2 hours ago I went to the bathroom, and when I went to leave there was a nasty cracking noise from the door latch, and the handle went limp.

I spent ages trying to fashion a tool to jimmy the door open from what I had in there, but failed miserably.

My phone was in another room, and nobody was around outside to shout to for help.

In the end I had to kick a door panel out and crawl through. That's an escape room with proper jeopardy!
