So the thing I’ve been in woodwork mode for today. I use a wooden trunk thingy as a coffee table in my studio space. It’s basic but it works. But I do hate the tangle of cables when charging devices (laptops, xbox controllers, phone, ipad, that kind off stuff).

So today I knocked out a side panel, fitted hinges and a magnetic closure, put a power strip inside with a 10 port USB hub next to it, and as a finishing touch, added LEDs in a routed channel.

Pretty happy with the upgrade tbh. I’m half expecting Ashley to demand it as a living room table.
