If you're #trans and a gamer and you like fantasy RPGs at all, go play Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
This one of the few games that really is made by us and for us. The gameplay director is a trans woman and there are many other trans engineers, artists, designers, and writers who have been involved in its development. (It's probably in the dozens if you add up all the names.) And it shows in the story line and the writing. I'll avoid the spoilers but let's just say most of my trans friends who are playing it are bawling their eyes out right now.
It's also a game that matters to me personally. My wife worked on it off and on for a total of about 2 years and the "when, if ever, will this game actually launch?" drama has been a part of our lives for a while. 😂 The gameplay director is also a personal friend of my wife's who she worked with pretty closely on a previous game. She's the first person my wife and I came out to besides maybe my brother, long before I met any of my Fedi friends. She's the person who helped me get started on all the medical stuff.
So yeah, if you're on the edge about whether or not it looks interesting, let me give you the nudge. I doubt you'll regret it. 😁
