I think Nostr Wallet Connect (NWC) is one of Nostr’s best features. That is way more important than a Twitter clone, but the social features are also very important!

Watching how BlueSky seems to be taking off, and yes, it will likely run into the same issue as Twitter, I am seeing #nostr not as a direct competitor but rather as an independent publishing and payment protocol.

The ability to create and receive payments without permission is nostr’s superpower. Much more interesting than a censorship-resistant shitpost platform.

Seeing long-form and publishing experiments like YakiHonne (npub1yzv…rf8q) and GitCitadel (npub1s3h…75wz) have me very encouraged that this will be the future.
