Looking for help on gender labeling.
In my book on design biases I’m writing a chapter about women. I preface it with context that I’m referring to “biological women,” meaning assigned female at birth. This stems from my referring to my children as biological vs adopted.
But it occurred to me that “biological” could technically be apply to trans women as well.
Is “biological” the right term for folks assigned as women from birth? The context being metabolic rates, etc.
