Has Britain fallen out of love with tea? Consumption in the U.K. is now one-quarter of what it was in the 1970s. For inews.co.uk, Nell Frizzell writes about the complicated relationship between Brits and tea. "It is tempting to see the death of tea as somehow symbolic of the end of a particular type of Britishness. A nostalgic version of the nation held in cricket clubs and church halls, in tea dances and doilies," she writes. "But it is also possible to see the adoption of tea as a part of British history that was, at times, inglorious, undignified and harmful." We want to know, what's your favorite hot drink?
