I find it very funny that "poaching" is considered inherently unethical or immoral in some circles.
There's a blog post I've thought about writing titled something like "progressives in favor of the 0.1%" that discusses norms and laws that my lefty social circles advocate for that mostly benefit the extremely wealthy.
Who doesn't like poaching? Eric Schmidt and Steve Jobs (https://danluu.com/google-wage-fixing/), business owners and capital, and people who claim to be looking out for the little guy.
