No, Certainly not if an AI service is asking for email address or some other sort of attribution, but FOSS AI is here; so for the technical user the privacy sacrifice can be swapped with some time investment.
For the rest of the world it would be nice if you could utilize AI services without attribution (FOSS preferred but not a necessity with payment linked npub). Even closed source models would have to change. The recent interview with Miljan on CITADELDISPATCH (npub10at…02w3) highlights this change from monetizing our information to finding a user base that values amazing tools.
I just don’t feel privacy has to be traded for usefulness or monetization for the developer. Not saying that’s easy; just thinking a clever developer can find a way with tools like Nostr and Bitcoin.
