I used to live by a halfway house, it was disgusting and horrible to be around. Completely changed the face of the neighbourhood, kids stopped playing outside when it was built because of insane drug addicts roaming the streets. Anybody who has these ideals has either never been in a North American city or is an academic who lies to themselves.
