Despite sadness over the layoffs, I'm very proud to see the March/April issue out in the wild. This #longCOVID feature, was the longest piece I've written for the Observer and one of the most important to me, as I really got to know the long COVID sufferers and valued their stories so much. I hope reading this story inspires people to take action, however small—mask up in transit or where it's crowded, urge your workplace to improve air quality, or whatever you can do.
