I lost my dad earlier this year to suicide as well, so sorry you are going through this. I had no idea what my father was going through either. If you asked me before it happened I would of said he was happier than me...we honestly just have no idea what people are going through. The weird thing is I feel like I am a better person because it happened. really forced myself to go inward and reflect on myself and how I respond to things. I still think about him everyday but it does get easier, the sadness doesn't go away but you get better at responding to it.
