When I bring up a point, and am shouted down by people who haven't done the reading and aren't interested in understanding, I'm reminded of the great value of Actually Doing The Reading.
I hate to see the online Right devolve into purely shouting down their "enemies" when they understand nothing about them, and they can't tell when to leave people alone because they are moving the ball.
