It has never been so easy to write bots as for nostr. No authentication no development APIs. This is a great opportunity, but also a great risk. Spam will be a big issue. Like Dick-Thursday yesterday.
In my opinion, relays should only accept proof of work messages. This should reduce a lot of spam.
