good points, thank you. I also know that taking on this interim position will kill my research momentum, which is super discouraging. I think that’s also part of why I’m upset tonight… when I had a Director, I felt free to pursue those interests and now I feel like I can’t. Not to mention the three grad student meetings I have this week… they all want to do research with me, but I don’t know if I can take them on. 😞
