You're right about it being so similar to fursuiting! I was in the VRV lobby figuring out controls last night, and there was a board where I could pick an avatar, and I got this big gray dog and looked in a mirror and immediately felt like I was in suit at a con. I was mesmerized by all the simple things, like I looked at my hands (paws) and did a little squeal haha. What a hoot!
