Hi #nostr

I want to check-in if plebs are aware of 'Metabolic Typing' ?

Often I read about and see pictures of juicy steaks passing my feed.
Some years ago I was advised to eat more animal protein/fat and avoid carbs, like gluten and get the carbs more from veggies. It helpt, took away hunger cravings, binge eating and all kind of bodily discomforts. Yet I don't think all bodies fare well on only or mainly animal protein/fat.

What is Metabolic Typing?

In short you could say, for millennia we ate what our surroundings had to offer. We didn't travel as we do now, so no containers full of exotic food shipped from abroad. The Inuit in the icy cold mainly eats animal protein and fat, no fruits or veggies grow up there..
A Indian eats more grains ,fruits and veggies because the land offered it in plenty. Give the Inuit an Indian diet and the Indian the Inuit diet, they'd both become sick.

I know people who fare well on vegetarianism (not sure on vegans) and I learned I do well on meat, butter, eggs hmm etc. I can even say vegetarianism didn't work for me after trying it a couple of years.

That all said, I felt like noting this. I only got to know about these types after going for diet advice to a specialist in Traditional Chinees Medicine who had combined both fields of knowledge.

A now quick search online brough me to this short video with this lady summing up what is.
