We wash our hair far too often

You'd be surprised how long you can go between shampoos.

There has been a lot of discourse around this over the last few years and there's also the No Poo movement.

The trick is to not go from daily shampoos to never shampooing. That is the path to pain. Gradually extend how many days until you shampoo.

I had reduced my shampooing down to weekly before I became homeless due to my interest in the No Poo movement. Since becoming homeless I can cope with my hair being washed every two weeks if necessary.

I'm not going to link an article here as there's so much to choose from.

I know it's time to shampoo when my head gets itchy.
