Hiked a 20-mile loop in the Tillamook State Forest this morning at the Elk Creek Trailhead. Weather wasn’t great but it didn’t rain on me so it was nice. Passed a couple hunters on forest roads. They didn’t seem super enthused to see someone hiking and lightly jogging through the forest (My winter hiking clothes are orange). Thankfully the temporary bridge over Elk Creek hadn’t been removed yet. My plan to cross the creek on rocks would have failed.
