Iranian Grammy Award winner #shervinhajipour announced on Monday that he was pardoned from a 3-year sentence for his protest anthem #baraye which became symbolic of the 2022 demonstrations following #MahsaAmini death. In an emotional Instagram video, he revealed that his case was dismissed under a new amnesty order.
