We saw that young deer again today, still on his own. I think he’d got stuck in that little paddock, because he looked quite distressed running up and down the fence line. After a few minutes, though, he did a little hop and vanished so he must have figured out he could get over it and onto the moor.

Grumpy Grouse was in fine form!
