Combine was added 5 years ago and has had very few changes since then and doesn’t really fit in with strict concurrency checking and now with Observable there aren’t a lot of required uses for it from Apple’s frameworks.

But I kind of hope we see some evolution of it at WWDC. While async/await is much better for tasks, Combine is still better for data flow. It would be amazing to see a solution that bridges these 2 together.
