I got my wife fungi and wild bird-related gifts this season. A “Fungi Perfecti” hat and a deep yellow Chanterelle T-shirt. The hat is a replacement for her “old faithful” which is worn out. Same hat, different color this time (because, why not?). Wildcrafting is our shared passion. But also birdwatching. So I braved Temu and took a chance on a small, metal bird feeder with feet. Cost $18 delivered, minimal assembly, not too bad. It’s adorned with cute flowers and two sitting metal birds at the top. She likes it, and so do I. Haven’t yet take a pic. Will post when I do. She gifted me a fabulous, “Corinthian Bells” wind chime, one of the big ones. I’ve always wanted one and this one is perfect.
