My brain was apparently processing my parking choices slowly yesterday, because I awoke with a jolt at 3:45am #today with the realization that it was street-cleaning day on the street & side I parked on (where I don't usually park) and no parking was allowed there 3-5am. I threw on clothes and rushed out of the house, expecting to find the car ticketed or towed.
I found that mine was the only car on that side of the street, but miraculously, I was neither ticketed nor towed. I have no idea why.
