Got my Anbernic RG280V working finally with a little help from their support. The device is great, but it’s also a bit janky at the same time. The supplied charging cable, USB-A to USB-C is wired in some weird non-standard way which means it’s the only one you can use to charge the device. Standard cables don’t work.
Also took the back off and unplugged the battery.
Lesson - never assume anything…
