Isn't it funny how your country has regional accents, but every other country only has national accents?
I think of London/Liverpudlian/York/Mancunian accents, but expect there to be only one Australian or Canadian accent. (America, cos of Hollywood, you get three: New York, Southern and everyone else.)
And don't get me started on all the Nigerian accents; we have a million, even tho I know that every non-African thinks there's only one accent on the whole continent.
