I should also probably post the full version of my avvy here, now that I think about it...

Fireworks! Probably like, magic ones or something given who's lighting 'em up. I myself am easily startled by them when up close (as with everything else loud and sudden really), but the idea and flashiness behind them is still hard to ignore (also I just like explosions >.>; )
