It’s a total myth that fruit is a “bad carb.” Fruit comes packed with essential nutrients and natural sugars like fructose—not the same as processed sugar. Plus, the fiber in fruit slows down sugar absorption, meaning it has little to no real impact on blood sugar levels. I always shake my head when doctors tell people with diabetes to avoid fruit. That’s just irresponsible.
