When I think of Jimmy Carter, I'll always think of the little song that we sang in Sunday School each Sunday when Sunday School ended and we gathered to walk across the street to church. As the lessons ended and before we'd sing our final song, "I was glad when they said unto me, 'Let us go unto the house of the Lord,'" we'd sing,

"Be ye doers of the Word, be ye doers of the Word, be ye doers of the Word, and not hearers only, be ye doers of the Word."
