17 years ago we tried to make open protocols that would provide an alternative to the big silos. Today we have now created open web standards based on linked data, semantic inbox, websockets and pub/sub to link together ecosystems of mastodon, nostr, threads and many others reaching over 100 million users. More to be done, but what a milestone!
