owo maybe theres somthing new ig i only ever used virt-manager and passed through the pcie lanes my gpu were on,, i was on a laptop so it was great i could keep linux on the inbuilt screen and put windows on the main monitor that was connected to my external gpu,,

i like straight forward solutions better than anything that requires a certain software package tbh bc then i know wat can be causing latency,, and for me at that point it was just the cpu being unable to keep cool enough,, and windows software not playing well in a virtual environment,,

maybe in a $3000 computer it all works smoothly,, but i dont think id wana try it agan rn since dual booting just works and windows likes it,,
