Please help me get a #Mastodon #issue addressed!
Many instances have temporary storage for external media (images, videos) and delete it if it hasn't been accessed in a while.
My home instance changed its media URL and Mastodon doesn't recheck if the media URL has changed if it fails to download the media. Now my much of my photography is no longer visible on many instances. 💔 It really sucks. 😢
